Starfish Patriotus Americus pictures #2

Lady Shuttle Maker wanted me to make another picture next to a quarter so that you can all see how delicate this starfish is made with size 80 thread. "And beads too!" said she. Here it is.

The starfish is very delicate indeed. but I must say I love working with size 80 thread and am glad to see that you are giving it a try.

WOW it is beautiful! It gives a better perception of the size next to the quarter, very delicate.

It does help to see tatting next a familiar object. Now I know how large the center of the starfish is. Thanks for posting the new picture!

I am enjoying the size 80 thread. I don't think I've ordered anything else since I tried it! I'm glad you like it Bonnie and Diane. Thanks to Sherry for suggesting that I scan it with a quarter.

I can't believe this...I could've sworn I left a comment the day you posted this and now that I'm here from Lady Shuttle Maker's "commercial" for her patriotic thread I see that my comment didn't "take". Hmmm...well, what I wanted to say was that your patriotic star turned out really neat.
