The first picture is a scan of Snowflake Rose #3 in Yarnplayer's hand dyed thread called "Rose." I used DMC Cebelia for tatting the rings so I wouldn't waste the hand dyed thread as the core thread. As always, the hand dyed thread is such a joy to work with and I love the look of it. Clyde has renamed my Christmas tree the "Rainbow Tree" so I can leave it up all year! I just can't bear to take it down and pack up the tatting.
The next two pictures you have already seen, but I asked Karl to scan them in for me to see how much better they would look. I'm reading the instructions with my scanner so I will know how to use it when we get it hooked up. We are waiting the arrival of a special USB cable so we can transfer files from the old computer to the new one.
Back to my tatting!

I can't believe how many snowflakes you've tatted... and they're all gorgeous! I say keep the tree up all year long!
I can't believe it either! I didn't start out to do this many, I just can't stop. Thanks!
I love all the color!
Another beautiful snowflake soon you are going to have to put a blizzard warning on your front door to warn people who are entering your house that it is a snow storm inside.
Ms. Mad Potter, between your thread and Marilee's, color does indeed abound! I have never been so happy with my tatting as I am with this marvelous thread and your shuttle!
Clyde, it might not be a bad idea to put up that sign. Being in Alabama, everyone would think I was crazy and it might scare off intruders!
