This snowflake was designed by Emma Crew in Mark 2001 for the first snowflake round robin. It is one of the snowflakes that Jon tatted. She so inspired me with all of those lovely pieces that I had to see if I can make it snow in Alabama!
It is tatted with DMC Cebelia size 20 with seed beads that are purple/blue. My friend Kark scanned it in for me with Madeline helping him with backgrounds. I chose these two views to post.
Thanks to Emma Crew for designing and sharing the pattern, to Jon for inspiring me, and to Karl and Madeline for the scans!

The white background turned out better then I thought it would. Both backgrounds show off the beautiful snowflake very well. Madeline
This is a really pretty snowflake!
The blue beads add a frosty feel!
It's so lovely with the beads!
That's really pretty, I look forward to the rest of the flurry!
What a pretty snowflake! I love the touch of blue!
Nice! How many snowflakes will you be making?
Thanks everyone! I wish it was my design so that I could take complete credit for it! Jon, I don't know how many I will make. I guess as many as I can before Christmas. I might end up with a tree covered in snowflakes!
