My dad carved these for me years. Somehow they had gotten packed away and I just found them. I guess there is something to be said for cleaning house. Did I really just say that? LOL
I hope you can tell how talented he was and how proud I am of him and his legacy. I can't carve much anymore for several health reasons. I guess that's why I loved tatting the leaves so much.

They are superb. Perhaps you should frame them in a shadow box or something to look at and enjoy everyday.
Laura, these are so pretty! What a wonderful keepsake!
Thank you Sherry and Diane. I think I will get a shadow box for them. I just have to decide if I want just these three or some of the others as well. What do you think about putting the tatted leaves with them?
They are lovely. Like father like daughter - both you and your father make lovely things!
=) tatted leaves in the background... a father daughter collaboration! If you have enough to make an extra I think it'd make a swell gift for your father!!! =) "I still kept these..."
I think tatted leaves would be a wonderful accent to these beautiful carved leaves!
