Last few weeks work

This is what I have been doing for the last few weeks as the weather and my health would allow. I can do the woodburning inside, but have to be outside to spray on the sealer and do the sanding.

I have several more shapes ready to be sanded and burned or painted. Maybe even something Christmasy!

One of my special friends and I have worked out a barter for thread winders and some of her tatting. She likes what she calls the "beau-tree-flies" and the flower with the vines. Can't find anymore butterflies right now, but I have other things I think all of you will like.

Also, while searching for something entirely different on Wednesday, I found the photos from my woodcarving period. There are pictures of my dad and I at at a show and more of our work. Would you like for me to scan them in and post them? You won't believe it's me!

Later!

Thanks Diane. I'm glad you like them. Daddy always loved to carve and paint leaves.
I knew I could count on you Jane. I've always loved cows and being silly, so being a silly moo is too much fun!

ohhhh....why do you have to inspire me so much when I have so little time!!!!

Oak leaves are usually my favorite motif, as far as leaves go, but butterflies are a favorite too and I just love the way you've made the tree growing in the butterfly. That one is my favorite.

Family photos always fun - SHOW them!
