This is a display of our combined work. The display is at Tannehill State Park in Alabama. That is where our club is located. I am no longer a member, but they are still very active and have a show every October.
These painted canes where purchased from me by the Birmingham Museum of Art! They sold them in the museum store. I was ever so thrilled! The one with the darker handle is made from Crepe Myrtle wood cut in my yard. It is the one I am using now that my knees are so bad.
This display is in a mall in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. (Club sponsored.) The big picture in the center is one of my Dad's masterpieces. I think one of his finest works.
These to woodburnings are boxes made to look like books. I enjoyed doing these very much. The one on the left was made for a friend who was very ill and I gave my mom the one on the right.

These are just stunning! I love those little boxes that look like little books! Those are so sweet! What treasures!
WOW, I'm gobsmacked. WHAT talent. Thanks for showing all your work.
More beautiful pieces! It's so much fun to see how much creativity has flowed through those fingers of yours!
Beautiful!
You do beautiful work, Laura. I would love to have one of the little boxes that look like books!
I love wood! Beautiful work.
:-))
Thank you Tattingchic. They were fun to do. I need to see if I can find some more of them.
Does being "gobsmacked" hurt? LOL I hope not. Thanks Jane!
Thanks Diane. God has blessed me richly as I am nothing but what He made me!
Thank you Bonnie.
I'm glad you like my work Steph. I hope I can find more boxes.
I love wood too, Gina. It is such good therapy, but not as good as tatting!
I know I do not have to tell you how talented you are, as I have told you many times in person.
I am gobsmacked too..must be an English thing!!
Do you still have all your dads stuff??
I have to agree with whoever said that you have to carve a tatting shuttle!!!
WOW!
Thank you Madeline. You are still my best cheerleader!
Pamela, thank goodness for gobsmacking! I do still have most of my dad's stuff. I have given things to my niece and nephew as well as other family members. I have cousins on my dad's side that loved him so much. They have lots of offspring so I will be sure they get plenty of heirlooms.
I guess I will have to try at least one shuttle!
Thanks Wickedtats!
These are to dye for!
Thanks Lady Shuttle Maker. Glad you like them.
