I love this bookmark of
Jon's, especially in
Yarnplayer's size 80 Rhubarb Pie. This was a breeze to tat and I think it looks very rich and elegant. Your design is so nice Jon and I appreciate so much you sharing it with us!
As promised, I have kept up with the thread requirement. I used a total of 19 1/2 yards plus 4 yards for the tassle.
Row 1: 2 yards on shuttle and 2 for ball thread for EACH side of the bookmark. On mine that is the light pink and medium pink which are entwined. (8 yards)
Row 2: 4 yards on shuttle and 2 1/2 for ball thread. (6 1/2 yards)
Row 3: 1 yard on shuttle and 4 for ball thread. (5 yards)
I had loaded 5 yards on the shuttle so I used the 4 left over to do the tassle.
I hopes this helps anyone wanting to tat this bookmark. Remember this is with size 80 thread.
Have fun!

Very pretty! I have the pattern. I have the thread. Maybe when I get back to Illinois, I'll have the time!
Jon's pattern is very cool, I have it on my tat list (which is about 3 years long). This one turned out nicely!
The bookmark is beautiful in the HDT and thank you for keeping track of how much thread it takes to make it.
Love the way the shades of the thread progresses along the bookmark. How did you keep the rings in red for one side and the pink on the other? Appreciate your effort in giving the lengths of thread used. It will come handy for me and others who may want to tat this.
Very pretty colors and pattern. It's amazing how fast you get things done.
Yummy bookmark,I will have to make it.
Thanks sooooh much for the thred amounts, do you think we will get everybody doing the same!
Thanks Diane. I love the pattern and how it tatted up with the HDT.
A 3 year long tat list Sherry? Wow. You have a lot of tatting to do.
Thank you Clyde. I hope other people will start keeping up with thread requirements. It makes it so much easier.
Hi Jon. I used the extra thread I ordered from Marilee that are solids. I just worked the first line in light pink then joined the darker pink and wove together. Then I used two greens for the next row and the variegated for row three. You are welcome for the thread requirements. I might have been a little over generous, but better too much than too little.
Thank you Kathy. I'm glad you like it. This one just tats up real fast.
Thanks Pamela. I like it. I hope we can get everyone to do the thread counts thanks to your example and encouragement!
Very pretty. I've been wanting to try Yarnplayer's beautiful HDT's for sometime now.
