A Taste of Spring

Here are a couple of pictures from my front yard. My Japanese Maple is magnificent this year and the dogwoods have been also. The picture of the pink and white dogwood blooms is ONE TREE! I think I remember Daddy saying that the pinks are not as hardy so they grafted a pink onto a white to make it stronger. I don't think this is what they were going for, but I love it anyway.

I hope Spring will soon make it's way to all of you!

Beautiful photos! The pink and white dogwood is absolutely lovely. I hope to see some blossoms on our trees here in Wisconsin in a few more weeks. Right now we just have buds and a few crocuses.

Thanks Yarnplayer. I do hope you get your Spring soon. I know you are tired of Winter. Thanks Mom. You aren't old enough to be my mom, but I'll take all of the mothers I can get, especially the ones as loving as you. Love you!

Laura, I would say by the look of your pictures that you are enjoying spring now and the trees in bloom sure make for nice pictures.

Laura, your pictures are beautiful! My forsythia is showing a few flowers today, and my lilac is in bud, but everything else is still looking pretty brown. I know warmer weather is heading our way... the change in pressure is wreaking havoc with my sinuses! Enjoy the spring beauty!
