Sneak peak at round 6 of doily

Abstract, I know, but I like it! It is taking me so long to finish this round, I just had to share a little peak. I left the lid open on the scanner for the first one and I think it made a cool picture.

As several of you know, my grandbaby is sick. His left leg started bothering him on Friday and yesterday they made x-rays and put it in a cast to his knee. He has a fractured tibia. We don't know how it happened. The doctor says it is very easy for children to break this bone. He could have done it just turning his foot the wrong way. On top of that, he has croup. The cough sounds awful and he feels awful. I hope he will be better tomorrow.

Thus, the unfinished tatting! Some things are just more important. Not many, but some!

Poor little Isaac. Be warned - he'll recover faster than the adults around him. Give him a big hug from his aunty in the UK.

Ooh la la! I love sneak peeks... they stir my imagination! I have a feeling this doily will be drop-dead gorgeous when it's finished!

Hugs for Isaac! How about a tatted Thomas? It would look really cute sewn onto a shirt!

I love the colour that you are adding to the doily and thank you for the sneak peak. Some of us just can't wait.

Keep us posted on the progress of Isaac and the doily. Diane has a great idea about something cute sewn onto a shirt. That's better than those stickers they usually give kids - tatting lasts a lot longer! A tatted Thomas, or one of Jane's cute animals seems just the thing for a little boy.

Thanks for the well wishes for Isaac and the praise on the doily. I have already given him his hug from Aunty Jane. He loves hugs! Hugs from you too Aunty Diane. I'm not sure about tatting a Thomas, but maybe an animal on a shirt for his birthday which is next week! I am so excited about the doily. Can't wait, obviously, to show the finished row.

Well Laura, I really like the idea of a tatted critter sewn on a shirt for cute little Isaac.
