I'm sure there is no doubt what is going to be, but I wanted to share this much with you. I just finished tatting this part and will start embellishing tonight. I've got to draw it on paper before I tat anymore and hope it is right and I don't waste my HDT! This is, of course, Marilee's Rhubarb Crisp thread size 20 that I used for my last doily.

Beautiful as always, Laura!
Very nice, anxious to see the next step. Madeline
As always, you are doing a wonderful work with Marilees thread. Your tatting are so gorgeous.
Very nice Laura and I am sure the finished project will turn out to be a success so don't worry about wasting the HDT.
This will be a very nice cross. Are you designing it yourself? Looking forward to seeing how you embellish it.
Thank you Diane, Madeline, Jon, Clyde and Yarnplayer! It would be difficult to do a bad job with Marilee's thread. The only worry about wasting the HDT is that I might have to redo something that isn't quite right. I used the middle motif from the doily pattern to do the cross and I am designing the outside. (I hope.) I thought it was going to be easy, but not so much!
It's looking good, Laura, I can't wait to see how it ends up!
