Boudreaux 1990 - 2010

Our precious Boudreaux has gone to a better place. A place full of joy, friends and no pain. We will miss him terribly but he lived a very long, happy life and is now at peace. The beautiful young lady is our daughter Krista. He has another beautiful sister named Candace who doesn't happen to be in this picture of him. He was a good companion to all of us and a good guard dog for Isaac.

Much thanks to Banfield Pet Clinic for their compassion and kindness during this time.

20 years with you guys, that WAS a good life. That was a lovely thoughtful thing that the clinic did, I am sure that you have many happy memories.

hi Laura! I know exactly tha pain you are feeling.... I felt the same when I lost my dogs and cats....
the clinique staff was so kind (here in Italy noone pet doctors would do the same).
There is a thing that made me feel better when I was so sad: I close my eyes and I can see my loved pets playing peek a boo with angels, who give them hugs and kisses....

Hugs to all you.....

I'm sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to loose a dearly loved pet who is so much more than just a pet. The card was a lovely thought from the hosptial.

My wonderful cockatiel "Meeko" died last week. We had him for 13 years. That was a long time for him to live. We will miss him too!

Thank you all so much. Your words of concern and sympathy do indeed help. He did have a very good life and I appreciate you attributing that to being with us, Tatskool. He was a good little dog, Madeline. There will never be another "little red dog" for us. We will miss him terribly Fox.
Thank you Chiara. I can tell you understand perfectly. That is a real sweet idea to imagine them playing with the angels. I will remember that and share it with the rest of the family. I have been thinking of him running through fields of clover with my mother and her little poodle Ginger whom he loved dearly. (Both of them.) I am sorry about the loss of your Meeko, Carol. We used to have lots of birds and they really steal your hearts. I know you miss him a lot.

Twenty years. Our Yorkie gal is 15 now, and I'm surprised every morning that she is still with us; she's had pancreatic inflammation most of her life.

It's very sad to let go of one's pet. For a long time after Int. Ch. Mischief died, I would hear his footsteps or his yodel (he was a Basenji) calling me. It was as though he wasn't 'quite' gone. But he was only 15 months old; and, was killed by a stranger while in his show crate. Traumatic.

Much better our Charlie (Standard Poodle) who passed at 15, laying on the bedroom floor…faithful to the end; and, who thought himself a great cow dog although he did quite well in a show ring.

I am sorry for your loss because I know the 'hole' that is left in our hearts from their paw print…
