Mystery Doily half way through stage one!

Half way through stage one of the mystery doily! I really, really like it but the fingers of my left hand sure are stiff and sore. I think it will look really nice after it is finished and blocked.

This is how much thread I had left from a 50 yard skein of size 20 in Rhubarb Crisp hand dyed thread by Yarnplayer. One tiny piece, one a little longer and one about 1 1/4 yards. I have four more motifs to tat so I'm hoping to finish this stage of the doily with only 2 skeins used. The second part of the doily is still a mystery to everyone except Steph, unless some of you just aren't saying!

It's turning out to be so attractive... I am waiting to see how it looks when done – I am sure it’ll be no less than a masterpiece for sure.

I love how the mystery doily is looking so far. It looks like it is going to be an interesting design when it is completed.

Thanks Madeline. Me too!
Thank you Diane.
I'm glad you like them Valerie. I am so anxious to be finished, at least with this part.
I am glad your curiosity is aroused, Jon. Marilee's threads are all so pretty, huh?
Thank you TattingChic. I shall have to try and do everything on black.
Thank you Miss Rhea. I think it will be stunning when finished. The beach was nice. Wish you could have been there. Hugs to you!
Thank you Sapna. I'm excited to see it finished too!
Thanks Celtic Dream Weaver. It wouldn't be the first time we tatted the same doily! Not the same thread though. Hand dyed threads are such a joy.
Thank you Lady Shuttle Maker. You will be surprised I think. Tat too much? Are you serious? LOL
Thank you Clyde. Wish I could take credit for the design. However, it is fun to keep people guessing about the design.

Looking good, Laura! Are you going to do the center in Rhubarb Pie or go with a different color? I may have to try this one again.

Thanks Steph. A different color, I think. We'll see how it looks and then decide.
