March 1, 2009 snowstorm

Well, for Birmingham, AL it is a snowstorm! This is the 1st measurable snow we have had in ten years. Isaac's mom says he had a great time. I look forward to those pictures. It is still snowing and getting deeper. I think we are a little over 4" right now. You will notice in about the last 10 pictures, the snow was falling very thickly. It looked like a "white out."

I was trying to put a link to the pictures. It didn't work. Be back later.

Looks like all of us were out taking pictures. I enjoyed it while it lasted.

Dave told me you were having a snowstorm today! You haven't been tossing tatted snowflakes outside, have you?

I enjoyed it too Madeline. We still had snow when it got dark!
Glad Dave is keeping up with our weather, Diane. He was right! No, none of my snowflakes have gone out the window. It they had, it would be rainbow snow!
I'm glad you like the pictures, Lady Shuttle Maker. I'll have to give God the credit for the snow!

LOL! I remember when my daughter lived in AL, they had a little snow one year and it stopped everything! Power lost, people couldn't drive - she was flabbergasted because it was nothing like what we have here, but then, AL wasn't prepared for ice and snow and it didn't take much to stop things. That's been 10 years ago so maybe they've made some changes.
