Thanks to Blossoms and Blessings Designs for sharing this pattern. This little angel was a joy to tat. I've had the pattern printed and waiting for a couple of months. Yesterday, I decided it was time to tat it. It is quick and the pattern is very easy to follow. You only have to end once - between the wings and the skirt.
I used Lady Shuttle Maker's hand dyed thread "Summer Bouquet", size 20 and the angel is about 4" tall. The pattern can be found here.

Cute! Are you going to hang her on your tree next year?
She's very pretty! Do I see an angel tree in your future?
What sweet angel.
Thanks Tatting Chic. I'm thinking I need to look for another white tree. What do you think?
Thank you Diane. I definitely think I need an Angel tree! Thank you also for the lovely thread that you so generously shared with me!
Thanks Madeline. I think she looks very sweet.
What a beautiful angel and I love the HDT that you used. How about just adding angels to the rainbow tree then you would have a tree absolutely smothered in tatting.
Thank you Clyde. I really enjoyed tatting this pattern and I love the HDT too. I guess for now I will just add them to the rainbow tree until it falls over!
very beautiful angels.
Very pretty. I love your colors..I think I'll try it and I hope mine turns out as well as yours. It is very sweet and you did a great job. Will you stiffen this and if so, what will you use? Hugs, Linda
Thanks Valerie.
Linda, I'm sure yours will be very pretty. I will stiffen it before next Christmas. No need in doing it now. As soon as I find the bottle of stuff I use for stiffening, I'll let you know what it is! I do know I bought it at Michael's.
