This is Mark Myer's spider and web. Even though it doesn't show up very well, the web is worked in #80 tatting cotton white, mixed with a silver metallic thread. (I probably won't try that one again!) The spider is black DMC embroidery thread, one strand with tiny red glass beads. I have temporarily attached it to a blouse for Halloween. Funny thing - I have always been horrified of spiders! I have learned in the last several years that sometimes the best way to conquer a fear is to embrace that which frightens you. It must be working if I intend to wear this! Thanks so much Mark for sharing your patterns with us. Very pretty. I hope you read this because I do have a question. I am playing with this pattern too and was wondering, it says when you get the rings and chains for each row done to tie and work in ends. How did you do that ? It is throwing me that in most cases you join first ring with the last ring. This does not have that. Thank you .
