I have no proof, but I'm pretty sure my car a/c was shouting obscenities as I snapped this photo. I was in the car 30 minutes with the a/c cranked all the way up and it never got very cool. As a good Southern girl, let's just say, "I was glistening". I know I live in Alabama, but 105 at the end of June? Please!

I just spoke to Sharren in SC - it got to 107F there. What's it going to be like in August?
I was glistening also, but not quite as much as you! A brief shower this afternoon did not help matters much.
Hi Crazy Mom. We live in Leeds, AL which is not so far from Hotlanta. Most of my family live around there. I can't imagine what August will be like. My health is severely affected by this kind of heat. I'll just have to hibernate.
Hi Diane. I heard it is really hot in Chicago. Since you are further out of town, how hot is it? We haven't had rain in forever! My water bill is going to be sky high. I am so happy with my new home and lovely yard that I just can't stand to let everything die. Especially my asparagus and strawberries. Maybe it will be better soon. Hugs to you both!
