I couldn't wait to make Jon's new snowflake and here it is. I tatted it in Flora variegated green and a dusty blue. I just pressed it so it is darker than it will be dry. Oh, size 20. I thought these colors would look good on my Rainbow Christmas Tree.
I will tat the other pieces of the set in pink and green or pink and raspberry.
If you haven't ordered by patterns, I hope you will. They are so pretty.

ReplyDeleteYour tatting is always wonderful to see. I didn't realise it the first time, but I looked again and noticed the different alternating shade in the 4-rings grouping in the points of the snowflake. Did you plan it that way?

Thanks Jon. That is always good to hear from the designer. I can't take credit for the different colors ending up in the points. One can never tell what variegated thread will do, huh? If you eyes are playing a trick, mine are as well!
