Pansey Angel in Hand Dyed Thread

Thanks to Blossoms and Blessings Designs for sharing this pattern. This little angel was a joy to tat. I've had the pattern printed and waiting for a couple of months. Yesterday, I decided it was time to tat it. It is quick and the pattern is very easy to follow. You only have to end once - between the wings and the skirt.

I used Lady Shuttle Maker's hand dyed thread "Summer Bouquet", size 20 and the angel is about 4" tall. The pattern can be found here.

  3. Thanks Tatting Chic. I'm thinking I need to look for another white tree. What do you think?
Thank you Diane. I definitely think I need an Angel tree! Thank you also for the lovely thread that you so generously shared with me!
Thanks Madeline. I think she looks very sweet.

  4. What a beautiful angel and I love the HDT that you used. How about just adding angels to the rainbow tree then you would have a tree absolutely smothered in tatting.

  5. Thank you Clyde. I really enjoyed tatting this pattern and I love the HDT too. I guess for now I will just add them to the rainbow tree until it falls over!

  6. Very pretty. I love your colors..I think I'll try it and I hope mine turns out as well as yours. It is very sweet and you did a great job. Will you stiffen this and if so, what will you use? Hugs, Linda

  7. Thanks Valerie.
Linda, I'm sure yours will be very pretty. I will stiffen it before next Christmas. No need in doing it now. As soon as I find the bottle of stuff I use for stiffening, I'll let you know what it is! I do know I bought it at Michael's.
