I don't know how many of these snowflakes I have tatted. It is Milky Way from .
Jon's book which I think many of you are working your way through, or plan to. I didn't put beads on this one because I didn't think it needed them. Still don't.
Pamela's hand dyed thread named Rainbow Bright is sweeping the tatting community and I hope to have my tree full of Rainbow snowflakes by Christmas.
If you've yet to try the book or the thread, please treat yourself. You will be delighted!
Another pretty one.
ReplyDeleteIt is very pretty, both the snowflake and the thread. Well done.
ReplyDeleteHey!! that bribe I gave you didn't cover this much advertising!!
ReplyDeleteThat snowflake is sooooh nice, may have to be my next one.
That is such a pretty pattern. You are right, the rainbow colors are bright enough that it doesn't need beads.
ReplyDeleteThank you Madeline. I'll try to remember to show it to you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Susanne. I enjoy them so much!
Yeah, I've been meaning to talk to you about that bribe Pamela. This is a way of putting you in debt! LOL I think you will enjoy this one especially when you make it.
Thank you Tattingchic. The thread and the pattern seem to really compliment each other.
I love that thread and am really looking forward to seeing your tree at Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteThank you Clyde. It is soooo pretty. I wish you could see the reaction of people who come in and see a Christmas tree in October! My son-in-law wasn't brave enough to ask me about it. He went home from picking Isaac up yesterday and asked Krista "why does Lala have a Christmas tree up?"
ReplyDeleteDare I say colorful perfection?
ReplyDeleteOh That's too funny!
ReplyDeleteLadyShuttleMaker, you may definitely say colorful perfection!
ReplyDeleteMs. Tatskool, what's so funny, I ask you? It's all true!
