Nancy Tracy of
Be-stitched designed this snowflake copyright 2007. I have tatted this design several times, but this is by far the prettiest and I think will show up really well on the Rainbow Christmas Tree! The thread, of course, is
Pamela's Rainbow Bright in size 20. It took 5 yards of thread on the shuttle and 4.5 yards on the ball.
No fair! I was going to make that snowflake with Pamela's Rainbow thread. I guess that's what I get for taking my time. The snowflake looks awesome. And thanks for the thread measurements; they will be useful for my "experiment". More on that later.
ReplyDeleteWOW! You are going to have such a colorful tree! :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice!!
ReplyDeleteThe Rainbow Bright thread decorations are going to be a welcome addition to your Rainbow Christmas tree. I just love the colour of that thread.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the layers!
ReplyDeleteLaura, it is very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI really think I need some of that thread too.
I have run out of words to describe your snowflakes. They are all so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSorry Jeff. I didn't mean to jump ahead of you. Please go on and tat it as each one always turns out different. I'm glad you like it. You are welcome for the thread measurements. I am going to try to always do this. Can't wait to see the experiment.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tattingchic. It is getting more colorful every day.
Thank you Bonnie.
It is a great thread Clyde. I'm glad you like how it tats up.
Thanks Diane. This is one of my favorite patterns. I'm working on another one now.
Of course you need some of this thread Susanne. How can you live without it?
Thank you Madeline. You are always so sweet.
Thanks Laura. Actually, I have found another snowflake to make with Pamela's thread. As you have seen, Nancy's snowflake is part of the experiment I'm working on.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome Jeff. I can't wait to see what you make with the Rainbow Bright and what you are up to with the experiment.
